The Latigo Holder

latigo holder
The latigo holder (also known as the latigo keeper, the cinch strap keeper, and the cinch strap holder) is what holds the loose end of the latigo after it’s been laced through the ring of the cinch. It is usually made of leather and often has the maker's name or mark on it. It is positioned on the front jockey of the near side and is often attached with the front saddle strings.
